HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY
SUMMER SHOW Next Friday, in the Drill Hall, will be held the popular summer show of the Horticultural Society, and as this season suits the flower lovers, an exceptionally fine show is already assured. The ladies’ committee have the arrangements well in hand for the usual busy time for fancy stalls, afternoon tea, etc. Those interested in the cottage garden competition are reminded that the entries close this year on November 11, and so that arrangements for the inspection may be put in hand competitors are respectfully requested to send in their entries as early as possible.
