N.Z. SECRETARY RESIGNS. [Per Press Association. I WELLINGTON, Nov. b. Mr V. Hugo, secretary of the New Zealand Athletic Association, has resigned on the ground that he had lost the confidence of some members of the Council and also because he considered that he had been discredited abroad by the action of the Wellington Centre in taking up the matter of the visit, from the American athletes. Ho was urged to reconsider his decision, but refused.
