DRESS LESS
PROFESSOR SAYS SO. "BARBARIC FASHION” LONDON, Oct. 17. The whole principle of modern clothet is wrong, declares Professor D. A. Low, the eminent scientist. Mau dresses uncomfortably, inefficiently, expensively, and insanitaril/ for the purposes of pleasing women and earning a living. Suits should be washable and weatherproof. Ideal clothes would be those sufficient to avoid the attentions of the police. Women’s high heels concealed a shortage of leg, but tying pieces of wood to shoes was a mere remnant of barbarity. In future, added the professor, clothes would be radio-active, enabling the wearer to warm himself when desired.
