MAN IN CRITICAL STATE. ALBURY, October 21. While Alexander McCormick, aged 73, was driving some dairy cows into the yard at his farm at Carboor, near Wangarratta, a bull suddenly turned on him, knocking him down, and gored him severely. Before assistance arrived, the infuriated animal thrust its horn into tho man’s cheek, just below the left eye, inflicting a horrible wound, and plunged its horn into the calf of his leg, almost tearing the flesh from his bone. When rescued, McCormick was in a helpless state. He was motored to Wangarratta Hospital, where he lies in a critical scaditioxu
