LAST YEAR’S RECORD ECLIPSED ANOTHER SPLENDID MONTH. | With two months of tho year yef to i go, the value of buildings erected in | the city so far this season eclipses last year’s record figure of £314,171. AnI other splendid month was experienced ' during October of this year, and sevI onty-four permits were issued by the |''ity Inspector for the erection of i dwellings, business premises, alterations. additions, etc., to the total value jof £32,505 10s.
