MR. HOLLAND AT WESTPORT
[Per Press Association.] WESTPORT, Nov. 2. Mr Holland addressed a series of overflowing meetings in the mining townships during the week-end. Asked on behalf of the Public Service Association, Mr Holland said the Labour Party in office would make one of their first acts the restoration of the salaries of public servants, especially of lower I grades, to pre-war standard measured ■ in purchasing power.
