GIRL FATALLY ATTACKED WITH RAZOR. YOUNG MAN ARRESTED. Received Nov. 2. 11.30 p.m. SYDNEY, Nov. 2. {following on the death, at Junee, of U’are Prow.se, aged 17. a telephonist, Jack Smith, aged 18. a telegraph ).»«'rat<>r, has been arrested. It is stated that Smith had been paying his addresses to the girl and was repulsed. It is believed she was attacked with a razor. She rushed into the house where she was boarding covered with blood, and died shortly after. Police ’. isit< i a rerun nt the Junee Hotel and arrested Smith, who is said to have had two gashes—one being in the temple. He was bleoding profusely and was on the point of collapse. He was sent to hospital. It is believed he will recover. A razor was found in the room.
