WILL NOT LAST 100 YEARS. BRITISH COAL EXPERT’S VIEWS. LONDON. Oct. 29. Giving evidence before the Coal Commission. Sir Richard Redmayne said he could see no striking change on the .vorld’s basis detrimental to British ?oal interests. Britain’s coal exports for 1924 were 51.2 per cent, of the world’s exports, compared with 49.8 per cent in 1913. He expressed the opinion that in a quarter of a century there wonM be no oil in the United States and the world’s supply of oil ild not suffice more than from SO to rJOO years.
