EMBARGO ON LOANS
TO BE LIFTED SHORTLY DECISION OF BRITISH CHANCELLOR LONDON, Oct. 28. Tho “Daily Express” displays an announcement by its lobby representative that Mr Churchill has fully reconsidered the embargo on foreign and Dominion loans in the light of representations by commercial interests and the dominions, and it has been provisionally decided to remove the embargo at an early date. Mr Churchill discussed the question with leading bankers to-day. Announcement of the exact decision will will shortly be made. It is understood from other sources that even if tho embargo is removed this week there is no likelihood of any immediate issue of a Dominion loan, as arrangements tire being made for another issue not connected with the Dominions at the end of the week.
