A study made by the lowa State College shows the difference in cost of maintaining earth and improved roads. The former requires an annual cost of £5120 a mile for each 500 ears, while the good roads cost £4130 a mile for the same number of cars. Good individuals of whatever breed is selected should have the first consideration by the man about to launch himself into the dairy business.
