Mr. Coates had a crowded meeting in tho Town Hall, Dannevirke, this evening. Every seat in the building was occupied and all standing space occupied. Tho Prime Minister received a great ovation on entering the hall. At the conclusion of his speech the Prime Minister was accorded a practically unanimous vote of thanks and confidence in tho Government, the mover and seconder being returned soldiers. The Prime Minister was accorded • wonderful reception to-day on the occasion of his first official visit to Woodville. He arrived by express from Napier and was met by leading citizens and entertained at luncheon. In tho afternoon Mr, Coates ad« dressed a house packed and overflowing. Ho was greeted with continuout applause on his arrival, and again when he rose to speak and at the conclusion a unanimous vote of thanks an<l confidence was carried enthusiastically, with the addition of three hearty cheers. The proceedings were marked by intense enthusiasm.
