MUNICIPAL PICTURES DOUBLE-FEATURE PROGRAMME. Tho Irvin Willat-Paramount production, “Tho Air Mail,” adapted from an original story by Byron Morgan, coincs to the Opera House tonight. Warner Baxter, Billie Dove, Mary Brain and Douglas Fairbanks, Jr., are featured in tho leading roles of the picture. Baxter portrays the part of Buss Kano, clever crook and during aviator, who joins tho air service solely for the purpose of robbing the mails, and is regenerated by the spirit of the service, the love of a beautiful girl and the companionship of an orphaned boy. Billie Dove plays the girl, Alice Bendon, who lives in the ‘ 1 deserted city” with her father, George Irving. Young Fairbanks is Sandy, crazy about anything and everything connected with avitation. This keeps him hanging around the flying field where he meets Kane (Baxter), and immediately makes an idol of him. Mary Brian plays Minnie Wade, a fine part.

Other big names in the strong supporting cast are Guy Olli ver, Richard Tucker, Lee Shumwtay and Lloyd Whitlock. In the story are two bands of crooks constantly spying on Baxter. They suspect that, he is going to doublecross them and a humdinger of an air battle place, with Baxter, Fairbanks Jr., and Billie Dove fighting off the bandits and seeing the mail through in safety. The second feature is entitled “The Oppressed.” This picture presents a story of Belgium’s struggle for freedom in the time of Spain’s greatest power. There is b, delightful romance of a Spanish girl and one of the oppressed, a Fleming. The picture throughout is packed with action and absorbing romance. The box plans are Ut Messrs H. I. Jones and Son’s. All election results will be screened at the Opera House on election night.
