The plan is rapidly filling at Upton’s, where reservations should be made.

THH SWANKERS' CLUB. LADIES’ NIGHT. Tho Swankers’ Club ladies’ night, held at the R.S.A. Hall on Saturday last was a very successful function, and reflected great credit on tho promoters. Tho programme took the form of a progressive euchre tournament and dancing. The euchre tournament was Übly controlled by Messrs B. Cooper and W. Dunn. The duties of M.C. ’s were carried out by Messrs Fry and R. Bond and proceedings went with a swing, the dance music being supplied by Miss Feltham’s orchestra. An interlude was made for supper, when over a hundred guests sat down to a dainty repast which had been prepared by the ladies’ committee consisting of Mesdamos Cunningham, Burns, Bonner, Cooper, Firth, Fry, Dreyer, Coull, Dunn and Feltham. The tables were very tastefully decorated, the club’s colours (red and white) predominating. After the supper adjournment the prizes were presented to the winners of the euchre tournament by the president (Mr. F. Cunningham). The dance programme was then continued, and with streamers land confetti the scene was one of much gaiety. A most enjoyable evening was concluded at midnight by the singing of “Auld Lang Sync.”
