GRECO-BULGARIAN CRISIS LEAGUE’S ORDERS OBEYED GREEK EVACUATION COMMENCES \ By Telegraph—Per Press Assn.—Copyright. LONDON, Oct. 27. It is learned that in accordance with the decision of the League Council, the British military attache, Kangr Giles, is going from Athens to the scene of the Greco-Bulgarian conflict. French and Italian attaches are also going. GREECE OBEYS LEAGUE EVACUATION COMMENCED. INCIDENT PRACTICALLY CLOSED. ATHENS, Oct. 28. Tho Greek reply to the Council of the League of Nations states that the Greek evacuation of Bulgaria will commence to-morrow. The incident may now be regarded as closed, and all that remains is for the League to inquire into the responsibilities and claims of the two parties.
WHAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN FLEETS TO HAVE ASSISTED. Received October 29, 8 p.m. (Sun). PARIS, Oct. 28. The Greek reply not having arrived, the Council of the League sat in private session and seriously contemplated, for the first time in the League’s history, imposing the sanctions provided in Article XVI. of the Covenant. It is understood that Britain, France, Italy and Spain agreed that their fleets would be ready to join in blockading Greece. Meantime the Greek reply was received and considered satisfactory.-
