j HUNTER VILLE CATTLE SALE. DISAPPOINTING ENTRY BUT GOOD SALE. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on the Huntcrville Cattle Fair as follows:—There was a disappointing entry, many lines entered not coming forward. However, what was there met with a good sale, there being a good attendance. We quote:—Rough 2- steers, £5 to £6 7s 6d; 2-year E. heifers, £3 to £3 10s; 5-year bullocks, £lO 15s to £l2 2s 6d; black and white 3- steers, £6; empty cows, £4; dairy cows, £5 ss. Two-year Aberdeen Angus bulls on account Mr R. E. Beckett, made from 20 to 25 guineas, and the 7-year-old sold at 110 guineas.
