SELF-DENIAL APPEAL. REALISES £46,718 6s 4d. WANGANUI CONTRIBUTES £1,370. I The self-denial appeal of the Salvation Army throughout New Zealand has just concluded, and has resulted in in the large sum of £46,718 6s 4d being collected. Last evening tho various amounts were announced to a large and interested audience at the Army Citadel. The following arc the amounts collected in the Wanganui Division, the figures for last year being given in parentheses:'—Aramoho, £75 ( —); Eltham, £684 10s (£600); Hawera, £627 (£6ll ); Inglewood, £261 (£261); Marton, £547 (£5OB 5s 2d); New Plymouth, £824 (£885); Batea, £320 (£330); Raetihi, £152 (£180); Stratford £382 (£378); Taihapo, £356 (£291); Taumarunui, £215 (£162); Waitara, £247 4s (£225); Wanganui, £1370 (£1350). Divisional Totals. The following are the Divisional totals, last year’s figures being given in parentheses:— Auckland, £11,040 9s 4d (£10,794 10s 6d). Palmerston North, £7884 5s 8d (£7900.
