SPAHUNGER TREATMENT

In a letter to the press, Mr George Shirt cliff, who has just returned from Geneva, where he has been on a visit to his son-in-law, who has been undergoing a course of the Spahlingcr treatment for some two years, speaks in most confident terms of Spahlinger’s ultimate success, if he can only obtain the assistance necessary to enable him o perfect his experiments. lie says: “I have returned with a belief that Spahlinger is a genius and that he is making his researches his life work for the benefit of humanity, and that not only is he deserving of ill help that can be afforded him. hut lhat it is the duty of the Government as well as private individuals of means io see that ho is enabled to complete his work without further financial hindrance. ’ ’ Mr Shirtcliff admits that he is writing simply las a lavman, but ventures the opinion that anv members of the medical profession who at the present stage condemn the treatment are assuming a very grave responsibility in view of the support tn it which has boon given by o + hor distinguished members of the profession.
