Afailman’s Stipulation, velocity of 947.56 yards per minute, first; E. Douglas’ Alunga and Solo, 936.2, second; C. Gainey’s Ring 144, 875.75, fourth; J. Read’s Radio, 873.3, fifth; G. White’s Demurge, 832, sixth; J. Dowe’s Snowy, 807.2, seventh; B. Kench’s Lord Preater, 773.96. eighth; H. Hubncr’s Robbie, 60S, ninth; and H. Toop’s Sunrise, 697, tenth. The next race on the programme, was to be held next Saturday from WcHsford, but on account of the poor returns it was decided by the race committee to postpone it until later on, and to hamper the south birds on Friday night for la sweepstake race from Longburn on Saturday.
