MARTON

“NEW TOYS” ON SATURDAY. (From the “Chronicle’s” Special Correspondent). Theatregoers who visit the Marton Town Hall on Saturday next to see Richard Barthelmess in his latest First National picture, “New Toys,” will doubtless wonder about the identity of the baby appearing in the various scenes. Barthelmess and his wife, Mary Hay, play the roles of a young married couple in “New Toys”—and the newest toy of the drama is their baby. The child, by the way, is pliay ed by baby Pat O’Connor, and not by Mr. and Mrs. Barthelmess’ own daughter, Mary Hay Barthelmess. Hundreds of film fans have written to Mr. and Mrs. Barthelmess asking this question. Will tiny Mary Hay appdar sometime on the screen, Barthelmess says that will depend wholly upon Mary Hay II herself .when she gets big enough to decide the question. With la father who is a famous picture star and a mother -who has gained success on both the stage kind screen, little Mary Hay 11. ought to be particularly gifted.
