Un the extreme right is the Old Englibhe stall. Standing sentinel to the Dutch stall, with its picturesque windmill are the Japanese stall in bamboo and the lied, White and Blue in lath—both certainly most attractive in ap , , pearance and effective for their pur- ; pose. One also notices a very useful •>tall, reminiscent of foreign parts, where cakes are vended, and, last but not letast, the meat stall. Up a few steps and one arrives at the refreshment room. Here a com- ’ plete transformation has taken place, i sor.i“wha. dingy interior having ; given place to a most artistically and tastelully decorated tearoom, calculated to attract any diner. Space has been found for various side shows, and devotees of hoop la, biff, bang, wallop, •;r lathe and ball will find ample apportunity to show their skill.
