Dear Babs, I I was just delighted to hear that you and Ken really are going to step off together. What a time you'll have making your trousseau and buying things for the new home ! Ido wish I could bo with you, dear, to help. One thing I can do —give you a hint about Blankets. You'll need AT LEAST four pairs to start with, and it's a big expense. The thing is, get "Wanganui" Blankets. They'll last you a life time, and I know myself they wash beautifully. Ours are wearing splendidly. I've just had a new costume made* It's a "Wanganui Tweed" in a pretty ■heather mixture. Alan likes it so much he's going to ask his tailor tc show him "Wanganui" patterns for hia next suit. I must run now. Such lots of things to do —but I wanted to catch ( the first mail for my congratulations. Write again when you have time, and tell me the news. MOLLY. Local Representative: J.
