N.Z. VISIT TO AUSTRALIA SYDNEY PAPER’S COMMENTS SYDNEY, Oct. 27. The “Daily Telegraph” reviewing the Now Z(‘aland cricket team says that New Zealand conditions are similar to English and the visitors will probably take some time to accustom themselves to first-class trundlers on Australian fast fiery wickets. The Dominion possesses some good batsmen but the bowling department is lamentably weak. There arc very few first class trundlers and on Australian pitches they will find their task much harder. With the English trip ahead the States competing for the Sheffield Shield will field their strongest teams. Consequently the New Zealanders are up against a stiff proposition.
