MARTON

••BUTTERFLY” AT TOWN HALL TO MORROW NIGHT (From the ‘‘Chronicle’s” Special Correspondent.) Kenneth Harlan, ‘‘The Virginian” in the film play of that name and a leading man of many notable performances in the last year or two, plays the role of Craig Spaulding in the film version of ‘‘Butterfly,” Kathleen Norris’ novel, which comes to-morrow night to the Marton Town Hall. The all-star cast chosen with an eye for ability already proven in successive achievement, includes Laura La Plante, Norman Kerry, and Ruth Clifford. Kerry, who is remembered for his portrayals in ‘‘Merry-Go-Round,” ‘‘The Acquittal,” and ‘‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame, ’ ’ plays Konrad Kronski, the violinist; Miss La Plante will play “Butterfly.” Miss Clifford plays Hilary, Butterfly’s older sister. “Butterfly,” in the short period since its publication, has been accorded widespread popularity with all classes of readers.
