CHRISTCHURCH TO DUNEDIN.
A RAPID FLIGHT. DISTANCE COVERED IN 1} HOURS. [Per Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 25. With a good strong southerly behind Captain L. M. Isitt flew from Dunedin to Christchurch in an hour’and threequarters in a DH 9 machine. Captain Isitt had been down to Dunedin to make arrangements for flying at the opening of the Exhibition. Yesterday morning ho was in the air a couple of hours, as he spent fifteen minutes taking photos before leaving Dunedin. At 10.20 he took a photograph of the Octagon and at 12.3 he had reached the aerodrome at Sockburn. Conditiorf, wore a bit cloudy but he set a cours/at a higher altitude, and at a speed of 75 to 80 miles, with a strong following wind, he made good time.
