The Hawera completed discharge of her cargo at Castlecliff wharf on Saturday and sailed later for Patea. Messrs Cock and Co. advise:— THE KAITOA. The Kaitoa arrived in port yesterday from Tarakohe. ISLAND STEAMERS. The Union Company’s Island steamers movements are as under:— Kaitoke leaves Sydney on November 3 for Suva, taking transhipments cargo for Tongan ports and Samoa. The Tofua leaves Suva on October 29 for Auckland, where she is due on Tuesday, November 3. DORSET FOR WELLINGTON. At present loading for West of England ports in the local roadstead, the Federal S.N. Company’s steamer Dorset leaves to-morrow for Wellington, and is due there the following day to lift further cargo. She will clear Wellington again on October 31 for . Lyttelton, where she completes loading and sails early in November. MATAKANA’S PROGRAMME. The Matakana, from Wellington, arrived at Lyttelton on Friday for discharging and loading at Lyttelton. She sails again to-morrow for Dunedin to complete her discharge of Liverpool cargo, and then loads at Port Chalmers, Waikokopu, Auckland, and Wellington for Home. The Matakana is due to return to Wellington on November 13, and is scheduled to clear there on November 17 for London, via Rftnte Video and Teneriffe.

HORORATA LOADING. The Hororata arrived at Bluff on Friday from Port Chalmers to commence loading, and leaves again on Thursday for Wellington, thence Napier, Waikokopu. Gisborne, and Auckland to complete, sailing finally from Auckland about the middle of November for Genoa and London. TRANS-PACTFIC CARGO STEAMER MOVEMENTS. The Union Company, ‘Wellington, advise the following movements of their trane-Pacific cargo steamers: — The Hauraki sailed from Vancouver on October 24 for San Francisco to complete loading for Auckland. Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide. and Sydney, and is expected to clear San Francisco during the first week in November. The Waiotapu, from Pacific Coast ports, left Wellington on October 21, for Melbourne and Sydney to complete discharge. The Wairuna, from Sydney, arrived at Suva on October 16, and subsequently loads sugar at Lautoka for Vancouver. She is expected to clear Lautoka for Vancouver about October 26. The Waihemo. from Auckland, arrived at Vancouver on Oct. 17. and ’oais there arid at San Francisco for Lyttelton, Dunedin, Eduff and New Plymouth. She is expected to finally clear San Francisco about November 1. The Waitemata cleared San Francisco on October 14 for Napier, Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth, and is due at Napier on November 7. The Sierra Nevada (chartered steamer) is expected to clear San Francisco about October 31 for Auckland, Welling;sn, an J Sydney.
