EARL’S SECRET MARRIAGE
REGISTRY OFFICE FUNCTION LONDON, Oct. 22. Viscount Hastings, aged 24, heir of the Earl of Huntingdon, secretly married Miss Cristina Casati at a London registry office on the eve of his departure for Australia to superintend his mother’s property there. His parents were unaware of the details of the wedding. The bride is well known in artistic circles in London. The “Daily News” states that Miss Casaii is the daughter of the Marquis Casati, chamberlain to the King of Italy. Vicsouut Hastings is a nephew of the late Sir Samuel Wilson, whose estate his mother inherited.
