BETTER CONDITIONS
The weather is improving, but very slowly and the work in the garden is progressing slowly in consequence. Certain tender seeds will rot and die if the ground does not dry up considerably hnd will have to be sown again.'The weeds are another nuisance. They do not seem to mind the wet weather, but flourish just the same. But gardeners are as a rule a longsuffering lot and have to get used to all sorts of disappointments.
