ANCIENT STONE BUILDING
What is believed to be the oldest stone building yet discovered has just been unoarthed in the Sakkara Necropolis, near the famous Step Pyramid. It is one of two temples, and is the tomb chamber. Its architecture is comparable with the best work left by ancient Greece. The tomb chamber may prove to be an even more important find than the discovery earlier in the year of the tomb of King Snefru, the- fourth dynasty monarch, who lb ed about 5000 ye'ars ago.
