WANGANUI AUCTION MART Messrs Williams and Harper will conduct their weekly mart sale to-day, commencing at noon, when. they will sell a lengthy catalogue, including table and laying fowls and ducks, hen and chickens, also produce, including new and old tablo potatoes, seed potatoes, chaff, vegetables, etc. The full list is published in the advertising cobunns. The least observant person could not help noticing the changed aspect of the Avenue the last few days. There is an added brightness and a decided air of gaiety. The fact of the matter is that summer is really with us at last, and women are affecting the lighter and brighter frocks. At McNiven’s they are showing a wonderful range of summer frocks —a range so delightfully fresn and colourful that no woman should miss it.
