YOUNG MAN FATALLY SHOT [Per Press Association.] NELSON, Oct. 21. A tragic occurrence took place during the luncheon hour in Emano Street to-dey. Robert E. Thomason, married, aged * 24, was killed through a loaded miniature rifle exploding. While the deceased was sitting down making a cig arette, with the rifle between his knees, by some means the rifle went off, the bullet entering under his chin, inflicting fatal injuries. The deceased was employed as a lorry driver by Kirkpatrick and Co.
