BRITAIN’S OFFER TO INDIA.
FULL PROVINCIAL AUTONOMY ROUND TABLE CONFERENCE WANTED LONDON, July 24. The Daily Herald states that it is reported that the Government has authorised Earl Reading to offer the Swarajist leaders full provincial autonomy and a round table conference on the problems of the central government in return for the abandonment of non-co-operation and all anti-British agitations. If an agreement is reached King George will visit India during the coming winter.
