Mr Robinson, will soon inspect the naval bases, including Pearl Harbour at Honolulu. The. joint army and navy manoeuvres in Hawaiian waters demonstrated its defence weaknesses. Appropriation for Pearl Harbour will be stressed in the next. Congress. Conti dential reports on the situation have already been made by Admiral Coontz and Genera] Hines and arc being studied by the Army and Navy joint Board. Senator Hale, chairman of the Senate Naval Committee, and other Congressmen visited Pearl Harbour recently.
