FOR PAST FIVE SEASONS. i i An interesting comparison of figures ; for the past five years is contained in I the tenth annual report, to be sub * mitted to shareholders of the Kai Iwi Co-op. Dairy Coy. Limited on Wednesday next. The summary show's that there were 208.9121bs (93.26 tons) of cheese manufactured at th* factory during lhe .1920-21 season, as compared with 187,6361bs (83.76 tons) in .1921-22; 217,5471bs (97.11 tons) in .1922-23; ■ "bs tons) in 1923-24; and 210,4581bs 93.95 tons) for the season < cd. L'he lbs of but terfat received were:—l92o-21, 77,162; 1921-22, I 71.684; 1922-23. 53,.147: 1923-24,85,469; land 1924-25, 78,787. The average test this season was 3.99, the lowest since | 1920-21, when it was 3.79, while the pounds of cheese manufactured from lib of butter-fat equalled 2.70 —the i highest ratio since. .1920-21, when the i ligure in this respect was identical. I The proceeds from cheese sales and I consignments were:—l92o-21. £12,360; 1921-22, £5,703; 1922-23, £8,786; .192324, £7,141; 1924-25, £7,557. The payments to shareholders amounted to 2s Bd. Is 3d, .Is 9{d, Is 4d, and .Is 7id respectively.
