ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
A WOMAN’S DEATH. (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, July 21. A married woman named Isabella Jane Whyte, aged 58, was found drowned in the Leith early this morning and an inquest was accordingly opened in the afternoon. Evidence showed that the deceased suffered from insomnia qnd had received treatment at the hospital. The Coroner, Mr J. R. Bartholomew, said he would require further e\Tden<’?. regarding the deceased’s injury, and would require to hear the practitioner who was in charge of the case in the hospital. For that purpose the inquest would be adjourned until Friday.
