ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES

FOUND DROWNED. (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, June 28. Annie McFarlane, single, aged 49 years, was washed up by the tide at Layers Head on Saturday morning. The deceased had been housekeeper for Mr. Vaughtrey, of Mosgiel, and was last scon at his house on Wednesday last. Her movements since have not boon known. The inquest was opened on Saturday evening, evidence of identification given kind adjourned till Monday morning.
