A SURPLUS OR NOT?
BATTLE ROYAL TN N.S.W. HOUSE SIR GEORGE FULLER v. MR. LANG SYDNEY, June 27. A battle royal is proceeding between Mr Lang and Sir George Fuller, over the former’s statement regarding the late Government’s estimated surplus for the current year. Sir George Fuller claims that the Government is speeding up expenditure and postponing income tax payments in order to dispose of the surplus.
