A hundred thousand people witnessed the air pageant at Hendon in the presence of their Majesties. Several new types of machines, widely varying in horsepower, demonstrated their uses as fast scouts, troop carriers, huge bombers and aerial ambulances. They performed innumerable manoeuvres, including looping and spiral nose-diving to within a few feet of the ground. The use of wireless between machines in the air was demonstrated during aerial drill by four squadrons of thirty-six machines. THE COMMAND OF THE KING INTERESTING TEST OF WIRELESS TELEPHONY.
