A LIBERAL DEBACLE
WIPED OUT BY CONSERVATIVES IN NOVA SCOTIA WIN ONLY THREE SEATS OUT OF 43. Received June 26, 10.45 p.m. (Reuter) HALIFA.X, June 25. The Liberal Government, whose Premier is the Hon. E. 11. Armstrong, was defeated at the polls in the General Election by the Conservatives under the leadership of Mr E. W. Rhodes, ending forty-three years of Liberal rule in the province. The indications are that the Conservatives have won forty seats and the Liberals three seats in a House of forty-three members. Premier Armstrong was defeated in his own riding of Shelburne.
