All work will have Mr. Pownall’s personal supers vision, and customers can rely upon quick despatch and every satisfaction. SALE OF FRIESIAN CATTLE. In this issue appear advertisements in regard to the sale of Friesian cattle by Messrs. Wright, Stephenson and Coy. The second national Friesian l , Show will be held in conjunction with the first Taranaki provincial sale on the showgrounds at Hawera, on Thursday, July 3 at 1.15 p.m., when 50 females from the herds of well-known breeds will be offered. This is a great opportunity to secure good foundation stock.
On Wednesday, July 9, the dispersal sale of the Tokorangi Friesian stud cattle will be held at the homestead,. Manakau, near Levin. Owing to the death of the founder of this great magnificent stud, the late Mr. William Bevan, the complete herd of 9 6 head, including Netherland Pietertje of Bainfield, the 1000-lb. butterfat bull, will be sold absolutely without reserve. This is one of the finest Friesian herds in the Dominion. At this sale Messrs. W’right, Stephenson and Co. Ltd., will act in conjunction with Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd.
