CASTLECLIFF BEACH
lAIPROVEMENT WORK TO CONTINUE. Th© improvement of Castlecliff Beach, so ably begun by the old Improvement Committee, which so successfully organised two gala functions last year to raise funds for this purpose, to continue. A permanent society has been formed, and at a meeting held last week Air. A. Hj Rogers was elected chairman. A general meeting is to be held on Monday evening, when the future activities of the society will be discussed. Several suggestions are to be made with regard to beach improvements, and a very large attendance is expected. Tl:<| meeting will be a public one, and any persons interested in the good work of beautifying and improving Wanganui’s beach are invited to attend.
