ROWING REQUISITES
QUESTION BY MR VEITCH. (By Telegraph.) (From Our Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, June 26. Rowing enthusiasts are likely to oe interested in a question asked by Jdr Veitch in the House to-day. Mr Veitch stated that he was assured that row ng requisites were not procurable in New 'Zealand in anything like the total quantity required, so he gave notice to ask the Minister of Customs if he will forthwith make provision for the admission, duty free, of oars, sculls and racing boats, conditional on the New Zealand Amateur Rowing "Association certifying that these things are not procurable jn sufficient quantities within the Dominion.
