The steamer Port Victor is expected to leave New Plymouth on Monday next for Nelson, Picton and Wellington to continue Homeward loading. She is due at Wellington towards the end of next week, and will subsequently go to Lyttelton to complete loading. RIMUTAKA FOR NAPIER. The Rimutaka left Port Chalmers on Wednesday morning for Napier and Auckland to complete loading for West Coast of England ports. She will be dispatched from Auckland about July 4 for Avonmouth. THE NGAKUTA. Tme Ngakuta is due at Auckland on Tuesday next from Eastern Pacific Islands with a load of fruit. NEXT SYDNEY BOAT. The Marama is due at Wellington from Sydney on July 8. She will then withdraw from the intercolonial running for overhaul, and will be replaced by the Manuka, leaving there on July 11 for Sydney direct. QUICK DISPATCH. The steamer West Katan, from Pacific Coast ports, had quick dispatch from Sydney. She commenced discharging 1,500,000 feet of lumber and 425 tons general cargo (including 6000 aces gasoline) on May 30, and completed discharge at 2 p.m. on June 4, sailing for Newcastle at 5.30 p.m. the same day. The average rate of discharge for the four w’orking days equals over 15,000 super feet lumber per hatch per hour, which is a record for the port of Sydney. CITY OF ADELAIDE SAFE. The City of Adelaide, which was reported to have sprung a leak, has arrived at Hobart, short; of coal, having used up her supplies battling against the storm. No damage was reported.
