N.Z. MANUFACTURERS.
SOUTH TARANAKI’S OFFER APPRECIATED.
At a meeting of the Canterbury Industrial Association, held at Christ church on May 21, one of the members, Mr. Wills, after the discussion on the merits of a winter show, referred to a letter that had been received from the Department in Wellington in reference to free publicity offered New Zealand manufacturers at the Hawera Industrial Exhibition and Winter Show.
“Mr. Wills said it was an object lesson for the Canterbury A. and P. Association. The people of Taranaki were practically w T holly concerned in dairying, yet they had gone out of their way to help the secondary industries. That spirit animated the whole of the show, and members should do all they eouid to help it. The show would be heli from July 1 to 5.” It was decided to circularise the ra*mters of the Association advising them of the offer to the Hawera officials.
