ON THE MINIATURE RANGES EXECUTIVE MEETING. The executive of the Wanganui District Miniature Rifle Association met last evening Mr. W. D. Ayson presided. Dominion Championship.—The following recommendations with regard to the promot ion of a Dominion championship were adopted: That for this season this Association inaugurate a New Zealand championship competition. That a championship belt costing, say, £lO, be purchased by each association interested contributing so much towards the cost. That as a proposed meeting of delegates of various associations interested in the formation of a Dominion Council fell through, the championship competition be conducted under postal eonditions this year, and until such time as a Dominion council can be formed. That targets be issued from the Wanganui office. That for this year, and until such time as proper rules are drawn up, any financial member of any bona fide club be allowed to compete in the competition. That all entries be received by the Wanganui secretary, such entries to be certified to by the various club secretaries concerned. That an entrance fee be charged, and that any profits accruing as the result of the shoot be. placed in a fund to be handed over to the Dominion council when formed. That a sub committee from the Wanganui Association be appointed to draw up rules for submission to other associations, and that immediately such rules are approved of by a majority of associations, the competition be fired. Messrs Ayson, Stfachan and Hudson were appointed to draw up conditions to govern the shoot. Transfer of Members.—lt was de-, cided to adhere to the previous rule regarding the transfer of members from one team to another viz., that a member twice for one team remains a member of that team.
