After an inauspicious start New South Wales reversed Saturday’s defeat in the presence of fifty thousand people. The Englishmen again within a few minutes from the start scored, registering eight points before New South Wales broke the ice, but after this the blues took command, leading at half time by 15 points to 8. The home team preseed the advantage in the second half, forcing the game. Play on both sides was very rough, and much faster and more spectacular than Saturday.
