ITS CAUSE DISCOVERED A SUCCESSFUL TREATMENT Received June 9, 8.50 p.m. (Reuter.) NEW YORK, June 8. According to a telegram from Philadelphia, the paper North American, in an article which was withheld from publication for fifteen months “in the interest of science,” says: “The cause of cancer has been discovered, also a treatment, which, though still in an experimental stage, is producing remarkable results.” The discoverer is Dr. T. J. Glover, a native of Toronto, who, in the article, says he has established scientifically that the disease is due to a micro-organism. He has isolated the germ, and proved, by a conclusive laboratory test, known as coch cycles, its part as a causative factor. Dr. Glover conducted research work in New York for four years. Dr. Glover is now making significant progress in perfecting the method of determining the presence of the microorganism in the blood in order to detect the disease in its incipient stage, thus affording greater possibility of cure. t
