A VOTE KILLED
Received June 8, 5.5 p.m. (Reuter). WASHINGTON, June 6. A resolution to appropriate ten million dollars for the relief of German women and children, already passed by the House, was virtually killed by the Senate. A motion by Senator La Follette to discharge the Foreign Relations Committee, which refused to report the resolution, was defeated by 53 to 23.
