Next time that you see a one or two reel comedy which actually gives you a few laughs remember that the sweat of somebody’s brow—maybe many a brow—worked overtime to make you smile aloud. “Making dramas or even tragedies is not so hard. But making comedies is a tragedy. I don’t suppose there is a sadder task in the world."
