STOCK SALE REPORTS

TAIHAPE SALE. The New Zealand Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Co. Ltd., report a yarding of 1200 sheep and 150 head of cattle at their Taihape sale on Wednesday. With the exception of aged ewes in poor condition all classes .of sheep met with keen competition. The yarding of cattle comprised a large number of well bred cattle. These met with ready sale. We quote:—M.A. ewes r.w. Rom. rams 24s Bd, 26s to 26s 7d; medium ewes to 21s 6d; aged ewes 14s to 15s lOd; m.s. lambs 17s 9d to 18s 3d. medium lambs 14s 7d to 15s 7d; 2 and 4-tooth wethers 27s 4d; 2tooth medium ewes 26s 4d; 3 J year forward Hereford bullocks £5 10s to £6 9s; 2J year p.a. steers, good £5 10s; ’2i year Hereford steers, good condition £5 3s; fat bullocks •£5 18s to £7; 18 months steers £3 4s; 2i year steers, small, £4 2s 6d; cows with calves at foot 30s.
