SCULLING
A SERIOUS HITCH HANNAN REFUSES TO COMPETE AT DARGAVILLE. CLAIMS TO BE AUSTRALASIAN CHAMPION. (Per Press Association.) BLENHEIM, May 7. Hannan is not competing in the Dargaville sculling race. He claims he is the Australasian champion, aud that no race for the championship can take place without his sanction. He flatly declines to row MeDevitt again.
